Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal Practice with No Weekends!

JOB-5555

The Job Opportunity:
An established small animal general practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive veterinary team.

This opportunity is well suited for an experienced veterinarian or new graduate who values evidence-based medicine, clinical autonomy, teamwork, and continued professional development. The hospital encourages doctors to provide thoughtful, individualized patient care while having experienced colleagues and a well-trained support team available for collaboration.

Work-life balance is an important part of the practice culture. The hospital offers a flexible full-time schedule with no weekend, after-hours, or on-call responsibilities. Doctors also have a dedicated two-hour midday break that can be used to recharge, complete medical records, collaborate on cases, or step away for lunch.

Veterinarians benefit from an approximately 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, with experienced and well-trained team members providing meaningful clinical support. This allows doctors to spend more of their time focused on medicine, procedures, patient care, and client communication.

Professional development is strongly encouraged. Mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on learning opportunities are available across medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Doctors are encouraged to develop their individual clinical interests and pursue long-term professional goals.
