The Job Opportunity:
An established small animal general practice is seeking an Experienced Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, relationship-focused veterinary team.
This opportunity is well suited for a veterinarian who values high-quality, evidence-based medicine, clinical autonomy, strong team support, and continued professional growth. The practice places an emphasis on thoughtful patient care while giving doctors the freedom to make individualized medical decisions and build lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
The position offers a four-day workweek with no on-call responsibilities, providing a predictable schedule and supporting a sustainable balance between professional responsibilities and life outside of the hospital.
Veterinarians are supported by an approximately 2:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, with knowledgeable veterinary professionals available to help keep appointments, procedures, and patient care running smoothly. This team structure allows doctors to focus more of their time on clinical decision-making, patient care, procedures, and meaningful client communication.
The hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, diagnostic, and preventive care within a modern facility equipped with contemporary veterinary technology and efficient clinical systems.
Professional development is an important part of the practice culture. Doctors are encouraged to continue building their clinical skills and professional interests through hands-on learning, collaborative case discussions, peer support, continuing education, and ongoing coaching.
The team is seeking an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable practicing independently while also enjoying the benefits of collaboration with other veterinary professionals. Because of the experience level needed for this position, new graduates are not being considered for this particular opportunity.
For a veterinarian looking beyond the next position and thinking about the longer term, this opportunity may also provide room for continued career growth. Potential leadership, partnership, or practice ownership opportunities may be available, creating a path for a doctor interested in becoming more involved in the future of the practice.
