Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat urgent and same-day medical cases.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Practice evidence-based medicine while managing urgent, medical, and surgical cases.
• Perform surgical procedures appropriate to experience and training.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to support accurate clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with general practice veterinarians and support staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Educate clients regarding treatment options, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.
• Maintain accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary ethics.
• Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development.

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• Interest or experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or companion animal general practice.
• Strong medical, surgical, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to practicing evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
