A busy, well-established small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit team of veterinarians and experienced support staff. The practice has served its community for many years and has developed a strong, established client base. This opportunity is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with relief arrangements also potentially available. Practice Information:
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice with a three-doctor team and a strong support staff. The practice focuses on small and companion animal medicine and provides comprehensive care to its long standing patient population.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to small and companion animal patients
• Perform wellness examinations and medical consultations
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
• Perform surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience
• Utilize diagnostic imaging and outside consultation services when appropriate
• Practice Fear Free and patient-centered approaches to care
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Work collaboratively with other veterinarians and support staff
• Participate in case discussions and share clinical knowledge with colleagues
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients and their pets
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive hospital culture

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution or equivalent
• Is licensed and in good standing to practice veterinary medicine, or is eligible for licensure
• Is committed to evidence-based, high-quality patient care

• Communicates warmly and effectively with clients and colleagues
