Role Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality preventive, wellness, medical, and surgical care
• Evaluate and treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, and other appropriate species based on training and experience
• Perform comprehensive examinations and develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
• Practice evidence-based medicine and maintain excellent standards of patient care
• Utilize in-house laboratory diagnostics and digital radiography appropriately
• Communicate medical findings, treatment options, and recommendations clearly and compassionately
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and other members of the veterinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture
• Support a culture of lifelong learning and knowledge sharing
• Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and patient care

Job Applicant Requirements:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent graduate of an accredited veterinary program
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania or eligible to obtain licensure
• Committed to evidence-based medicine and exceptional patient care
• Comfortable providing comprehensive care for small animals
• Interested in multi-species medicine, with additional experience with pocket pets or birds welcomed
• Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to the wellbeing of patients and their families
• A strong communicator who enjoys developing lasting client relationships
• A collaborative team member who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge
• Curious and committed to lifelong professional development
