Role Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate emergency and critical care for companion animals.
- Rapidly assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage emergency patients utilizing evidence-based veterinary medicine.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for medical and surgical emergencies.
- Perform emergency procedures and surgeries consistent with experience and case needs.
- Collaborate closely with veterinarians, credentialed technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients during emergency situations.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary ethics.
- Participate in continuing education and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on lifelong learning and clinical excellence.
Job Applicant Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state.
- Passion for emergency medicine and patient advocacy.
- Commitment to practicing evidence-based, high-quality veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
