The Job Opportunity:
Some of the best professional growth happens when veterinarians have the freedom to make their own clinical decisions—with experienced colleagues nearby when a challenging case calls for another perspective.
A well-established small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative medical team that values evidence-based medicine, clinical autonomy, mentorship, and continued learning. Doctors care for dogs and cats across a diverse caseload, with opportunities to build and expand skills in preventive medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
One of the practice’s particularly valuable clinical resources is access to an experienced veterinary internist who provides in-hospital ultrasound and case consultation. This gives associates the opportunity to collaborate on more medically complex cases, gain exposure to advanced diagnostic workups, and continue learning without always having to refer interesting cases outside the hospital.
The practice welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Experienced doctors will find the autonomy to practice confidently while continuing to develop their individual clinical interests. Early-career veterinarians can benefit from structured, individualized mentorship designed to build skills and confidence at a comfortable pace, with increasing independence as they grow.
For a veterinarian who wants to keep learning, practice thoughtful medicine, and have knowledgeable colleagues to turn to when a case gets interesting, this is an opportunity with plenty of room to grow.
