Role Responsibilities:
- Providing preventive and wellness care for dogs and cats
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating sick and injured patients
- Developing individualized, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans
- Providing dental care and performing procedures based on training and experience
- Managing a varied general practice medical caseload
- Utilizing available diagnostic technology to support clinical decision-making
- Following hands-free radiology safety practices
- Communicating diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment options clearly and compassionately with pet owners
- Building lasting relationships with clients and their pets
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborating with veterinarians and experienced support professionals on patient care
- Participating in case discussions and shared clinical learning
- Seeking or providing mentorship based on experience and professional interests
- Participating in continuing education and ongoing professional development

Job Applicant Requirements:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of practice
- A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate and collaborative approach to patient and client care
