Associate Veterinarian – AAHA-Accredited & Gold Level Feline Friendly Practice

JOB-5965

The Job Opportunity:
Great veterinary medicine is not only about reaching the right diagnosis—it is also about creating an experience where patients feel safer, clients feel heard, and veterinarians have the support and freedom to do their best work.

An established small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative medical team built around that philosophy. With both full-time and part-time opportunities available, the practice welcomes veterinarians at different stages of their careers who are looking for a place to practice thoughtful medicine, continue growing, and build meaningful relationships with clients and their pets.

The hospital is AAHA accredited and recognized as an AAFP Gold Level Feline Friendly Practice, with an additional commitment to Fear Free techniques and Low Stress Handling. These distinctions reflect a broader philosophy of care—one that places equal importance on medical quality, patient comfort, and making each veterinary visit as positive as possible.

Doctors enjoy meaningful clinical autonomy while having experienced colleagues available to discuss cases, exchange ideas, and provide another perspective when needed. A diverse general practice caseload includes everything from preventive medicine and routine care to more involved diagnostic and medical cases, giving veterinarians plenty of opportunities to strengthen their skills and develop individual areas of clinical interest.

Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and can benefit from structured, individualized mentorship designed to turn knowledge into confidence without expecting a new doctor to figure everything out alone. Experienced veterinarians will find an environment where their knowledge is valued, their interests can be developed, and they can continue evolving as clinicians.

For a veterinarian who believes excellent medicine and compassionate patient care should go hand in hand, this is an opportunity to build a career around both.
