Role Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based veterinary care
• Perform wellness and preventive-care examinations
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of companion-animal conditions
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
• Manage urgent and emergency cases appropriate to the hospital’s capabilities
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience
• Utilize available diagnostic and treatment technology
• Incorporate Fear Free and Feline Friendly techniques into patient care
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
• Participate in case discussions and clinical decision-making
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture
• Continue developing clinical knowledge through mentorship and continuing education

Job Applicant Requirements:

• A graduate of an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program or equivalent
• Licensed to practice in the applicable state, or eligible to obtain licensure
• Committed to evidence-based and compassionate veterinary medicine
• Dedicated to patient comfort and Fear Free principles
• Interested in providing high-quality care to both canine and feline patients
• Comfortable working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary veterinary team
• Interested in continuing education and lifelong professional development
• A strong communicator who builds trusting relationships with clients
• Curious, dependable, empathetic, and team-oriented
• Committed to maintaining high ethical and professional standards
