The Job Opportunity:
A well-established companion animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced, collaborative veterinary team.
This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to practice thoughtful, evidence-based medicine while having the support, mentorship, and clinical resources needed to continue growing throughout their career. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
The hospital treats dogs and cats as well as a diverse range of exotic and pocket pets, creating opportunities for veterinarians to build a varied caseload and develop additional areas of clinical interest. Previous exotic animal experience is not required for veterinarians primarily interested in companion animal medicine.
The incoming veterinarian will join a multi-DVM team of experienced doctors who genuinely enjoy collaborating, discussing cases, and supporting one another. Credentialed veterinary technicians are highly utilized, allowing doctors to focus more of their time on examinations, medical decision-making, procedures, and client communication.
The practice is especially supportive of professional development. Whether a veterinarian would like to strengthen skills in surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, exotic animal medicine, or another area of interest, experienced colleagues are available to provide guidance and mentorship.
Work-life balance is also an important part of the practice culture. The position offers a consistent four-day workweek with rotating Saturdays, closed Sundays and major holidays, and no on-call responsibilities. Flexible scheduling options may also be available.
