Role Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality evidence based veterinary care
• Perform comprehensive wellness and preventive care examinations
• Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Perform surgical and dental procedures appropriate to the doctors experience and training
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Educate pet owners about preventive care and treatment options
• Work collaboratively with other veterinarians and support staff
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Follow established medical and professional standards
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Contribute to a positive and supportive hospital culture

Job Applicant Requirements:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent
• An active veterinary license in good standing or eligibility to obtain licensure in the applicable state
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A compassionate approach to patient and client care
• An interest in evidence based medicine and continued learning
• The ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff
• Flexibility and adaptability in a team environment
• Surgical and dentistry experience is preferred
• New graduates and experienced veterinarians may be considered
