A progressive small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a skilled and supportive team.

Practice Information:
The practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, with cases ranging from routine wellness and preventive medicine to more involved medical conditions. The team is committed to incorporating Fear Free techniques whenever possible, with an emphasis on reducing stress and creating a more comfortable experience for patients. 
The practice operates Monday through Saturday, with full-time veterinarians working a flexible schedule of either 8 or 10-hour shifts. Rotating weekend responsibilities are part of the position.

The hospital is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including:

• Hands-free radiology, supporting safer imaging practices for patients and staff
• Digital radiography
• Ultrasound
• Additional modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to canine and feline patients
• Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, preventive care, and treatment
• Evaluate and manage a variety of medical cases
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Utilize digital radiography, ultrasound, and other diagnostic tools when appropriate
• Incorporate Fear Free techniques into patient care whenever possible
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and other members of the hospital team
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Contribute to a positive culture of teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution or equivalent
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and high-quality patient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate approach to patients and their families
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary veterinary team
• Interest in continued professional development and lifelong learning
• Flexibility to participate in a rotating weekend schedule
