Role Responsibilities:

• Providing preventive and wellness care
• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating sick and injured patients
• Developing individualized, evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans
• Managing a varied small animal general practice caseload
• Performing medical and procedural care based on training and experience
• Utilizing available diagnostic resources to support clinical decision-making
• Following hands-free radiology safety practices
• Collaborating with Internal Medicine specialists when advanced consultation or specialty care may benefit a patient
• Communicating diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care clearly and compassionately with pet owners
• Building meaningful, long-term relationships with clients and their pets
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
• Working collaboratively with veterinarians, credentialed technicians, assistants, and client care professionals
• Participating in case discussions and shared clinical learning
• Pursuing continuing education and individual areas of professional interest
• Contributing to a respectful, supportive, and learning-focused hospital culture

Job Applicant Requirements:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of practice
• A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
