Practice Information:
This AAHA-accredited mixed animal hospital provides comprehensive care for small animals and exotic species in a modern and fast-paced environment. Services include preventive care, soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, reproduction, dentistry, and urgent care. The multi-DVM team includes veterinarians with a variety of clinical interests and specialty areas, creating an environment that supports shared learning and mentorship. Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals, exotic species, and mixed animal patients as applicable
- Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform routine and advanced medical and surgical procedures based on training and interests
- Build strong relationships with clients through education and communication
- Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff on patient care and case management
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold standards of medicine
- Contribute positively to the culture and continued growth of the hospital
- Participate in a schedule that includes weekday appointments and Saturdays
Job Applicant Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in the state of employment
- Interest in mixed animal medicine, small animal medicine, or exotic animal medicine welcomed
- Strong medical, surgical, and communication skills
- Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine and exceptional client service
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Desire for continuous learning and professional development
