Role Responsibilities:
- Providing preventive, wellness, and medical care for companion animals
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating sick and injured patients
- Developing evidence-based diagnostic and treatment plans
- Performing medical, surgical, and dental procedures based on experience and clinical interests
- Clearly communicating diagnoses, recommendations, and treatment options with pet owners
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborating with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff on patient care
- Supporting Fear Free and low-stress patient handling whenever appropriate
- Participating in continuing education, mentorship, and professional development
- Contributing to a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented hospital culture
Job Applicant Requirements:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state of practice
- A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
