Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal General Practice | Hybrid Mobile & Hospital-Based Care

JOB-5175

The Job Opportunity:
A forward-thinking small animal practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and supportive veterinary team.

This opportunity offers a refreshing approach to veterinary medicine by combining the personalized experience of house calls with the resources and capabilities of a fully equipped veterinary hospital. Veterinarians can enjoy the relationship-centered nature of caring for pets in their own homes while knowing that hospital-based diagnostics, procedures, surgery, and additional treatment resources are available when patients need them.

In-home appointments provide the time and setting to get to know patients and their families on a more personal level. Seeing pets in a familiar environment can also offer valuable insight into their daily lives while creating a comfortable, individualized experience for both patients and clients.

When a case requires additional diagnostics, procedures, surgery, or more intensive treatment, the veterinarian has the support of a hospital rather than being limited to what can be provided in the field. This hybrid model creates variety in the workday while allowing for greater continuity of care.

The practice values evidence-based medicine, clinical autonomy, thoughtful communication, and collaboration. Doctors are trusted to use their professional judgment and develop individualized treatment plans while having colleagues and veterinary support professionals available for collaboration.

Continuing education and professional development are also encouraged. Whether a veterinarian is looking to strengthen existing skills, explore a new area of clinical interest, or simply continue growing as a practitioner, the goal is to provide an environment where doctors can build a fulfilling and sustainable career.

Practice Information:
This modern small animal practice brings together the best aspects of mobile veterinary medicine and traditional hospital-based care, giving veterinarians greater flexibility in how and where they care for their patients.

House calls allow doctors to provide care in a familiar, often lower-stress environment while developing meaningful relationships with clients and gaining a better understanding of each patient’s individual circumstances.
