Associate Veterinarian – Small Animal General Practice with No Weekends!

JOB-5466

The Job Opportunity:
An established, full-service veterinary hospital is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its supportive and collaborative medical team.

This opportunity is well suited for both new graduates looking for structured mentorship and experienced veterinarians who want to continue refining their skills, expanding their clinical interests, and practicing high-quality medicine with a strong support team.

The hospital is committed to evidence-based medicine, thoughtful clinical decision-making, collaboration, and meaningful clinical autonomy. Veterinarians are encouraged to develop individualized treatment plans while having access to experienced colleagues and support professionals for case discussion and collaboration.

The position also offers an attractive schedule designed to support work-life balance, including a four-day workweek, weekday-only hospital hours, and an extended midday break.

Doctors are supported by an approximately 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio, allowing veterinarians to spend more of their time focused on patient care, clinical decision-making, procedures, and client communication.

For veterinarians interested in long-term professional growth, the practice offers continuing education, mentorship, opportunities to expand clinical capabilities, and the potential to explore future practice partnership or ownership.

Practice Information:
This full-service general practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical, dental, diagnostic, and preventive care primarily for canine and feline patients. The team may also occasionally care for other species, including poultry, providing some additional variety within the caseload.

The hospital emphasizes compassionate, relationship-focused veterinary medicine and works closely with pet owners to support lifelong health and wellness.

  • General surgery
  • Dentistry
  • Management of acute and chronic medical conditions

New graduates can benefit from structured mentorship and opportunities to build confidence in medicine, surgery, diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication. Experienced veterinarians are encouraged to continue developing their own clinical interests while sharing knowledge with the broader team.
