The Job Opportunity:
Great general practice is about more than treating what brings a patient through the door—it is about knowing the patient, understanding the bigger picture, and helping them stay healthy, comfortable, and active throughout every stage of life.
An established small animal general practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative medical team where thoughtful medicine, clinical autonomy, and continued learning are part of the everyday culture. Full-time, part-time, and relief opportunities may be available, offering flexibility for veterinarians at different stages of their careers.
Doctors enjoy a steady and diverse caseload spanning preventive and wellness care, medical cases, dentistry, and surgery. Veterinarians are trusted to make individualized clinical decisions while having experienced colleagues and strong technical support available for case discussion, shared planning, and collaboration. The variety of cases also provides plenty of opportunities to strengthen existing skills and continue developing new clinical interests.
One of the hospital’s particularly valuable resources is a dedicated veterinary rehabilitation facility, allowing doctors to think beyond the immediate diagnosis or procedure and participate in a patient’s longer-term recovery. Rehabilitation, pain management, mobility care, and post-operative recovery can be incorporated into comprehensive treatment plans, providing opportunities for a truly multimodal approach to patient care.
For a veterinarian who enjoys the variety and relationships of general practice but also wants the resources to follow patients beyond treatment and help them return to the lives they love, this is an opportunity with something a little different to offer.
Practice Information:
The hospital’s rehabilitation capabilities offer an additional resource for patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or experiencing mobility challenges.
