Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of emergency and urgent care cases
• Stabilize medical and surgical emergencies using evidence-based clinical decision-making
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans while maintaining clear communication with pet owners
• Perform emergency procedures and surgery as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
• Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging and hospital technology to support clinical decision-making
• Maintain accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine
• Foster a collaborative hospital culture centered on teamwork, compassion, and continuous professional development
• Participate in mentoring interns and supporting a strong educational environment when appropriate

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
• Previous emergency experience or a strong interest in emergency medicine
• Commitment to practicing evidence-based veterinary medicine
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
