Role Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced diagnostic and medical management for complex referral and emergency internal medicine cases.
• Utilize advanced imaging and minimally invasive diagnostic procedures to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with specialists, emergency clinicians, and credentialed veterinary technicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Consult with referring veterinarians to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
• Mentor interns, residents, and clinical team members while promoting a collaborative learning environment.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary ethics.
• Participate in continuing education, clinical research opportunities, and hospital initiatives that advance specialty medicine.

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the state.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or successful completion of an approved residency training program.
