JOB-5558

The Job Opportunity:
An established General Practice and Urgent Care hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian to serve as Medical Director and participate in a structured Co-Ownership opportunity.

This position offers the opportunity to do more than lead the medical team. The incoming Medical Director will have a meaningful role in shaping the hospital’s clinical direction, developing its team, strengthening its culture, and helping guide its continued growth while sharing in the long-term success of the practice.

The opportunity is designed for a veterinarian who values evidence-based medicine, clinical autonomy, mentorship, and collaborative leadership and who is interested in taking the next step toward veterinary practice ownership.

The Medical Director will have the ability to establish and maintain high medical standards while helping develop workflows and protocols that support both general practice and urgent care medicine. Leadership responsibilities will include mentoring associate veterinarians, supporting the clinical team, improving case flow, and identifying opportunities to expand or enhance medical services.

The co-ownership structure allows the Medical Director to participate in the hospital’s performance and long-term value while receiving operational support in areas such as finance, human resources, recruiting, marketing, and practice operations.

This combination provides an opportunity to experience meaningful veterinary ownership while remaining focused on what matters most: excellent medicine, team development, patient care, and thoughtful clinical leadership.
