The Job Opportunity:
An established small animal practice is looking for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role, combining hands-on medicine with the opportunity to help support the team and shape the hospital’s continued growth.
This could be a great fit for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing evidence-based medicine and also finds fulfillment in mentoring colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping create a positive, supportive environment. The Medical Director will have a voice in the hospital’s medical direction while working alongside an experienced veterinary and support team.
The role allows the veterinarian to remain actively involved in patient care while providing approachable clinical leadership and guidance to the team. There is an opportunity to help strengthen medical protocols, encourage continued learning, and support consistent, thoughtful patient care without stepping away from the part of veterinary medicine that matters most—caring for patients and their families.
The practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and sees a diverse caseload ranging from preventive care and routine medicine to sick-patient visits and urgent presentations. The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including digital radiography and ultrasound, as well as hands-free radiology practices designed to promote safety and efficiency for both patients and the veterinary team.
