Role Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional wellness, preventive, medical, dental, and surgical care for companion animals
- Lead the hospital’s medical standards and promote clinical excellence throughout the practice
- Mentor, coach, and support associate veterinarians in their professional development
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with hospital leadership to achieve clinical, operational, and strategic objectives
- Develop, implement, and maintain evidence-based medical protocols and best practices
- Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures and dentistry appropriate to experience
- Diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Build lasting client relationships through compassionate communication and client education
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and professional development of veterinary team members
- Maintain accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary medicine
- Champion quality improvement initiatives and promote a positive, collaborative hospital culture focused on mentorship, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care
Job Applicant Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
- Eligible for veterinary licensure
- Previous leadership experience as a Medical Director, Lead Veterinarian, Chief of Staff, or similar leadership role preferred
- Compassionate, client-centered approach to veterinary medicine
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client education skills
- Commitment to practicing progressive, evidence-based medicine

- Confidence in general practice medicine and routine surgery
