Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to companion-animal patients
- Perform wellness and preventive-care examinations
- Diagnose and treat sick and urgent-care cases
- Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience
- Utilize available diagnostic technology, including digital radiography and ultrasound
- Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with clients
- Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and other doctors
- Participate in case discussions and ongoing learning
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold appropriate veterinary standards
Job Applicant Requirements:
- A graduate of an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program or equivalent
- Licensed to practice in the applicable state, or eligible to obtain licensure
- Committed to evidence-based, compassionate veterinary medicine
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative medical team
- Dedicated to developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Interested in continuing education and lifelong professional development
