- Role Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality medical care to small animal patients
- Perform wellness examinations and preventive medicine
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
- Utilize in-house diagnostic resources, including digital radiography
- Perform surgical procedures appropriate to experience and clinical interests
- Evaluate and manage urgent cases as appropriate
- Monitor hospitalized patients and collaborate with the care team on treatment plans
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets
- Clearly communicate medical findings, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations
- Educate clients to support informed decisions regarding their pets’ health
- Work closely with veterinary technicians and other hospital team members
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborate with other veterinarians on challenging cases
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented hospital culture
Job Applicant Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary program
- Valid state veterinary license in good standing
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based veterinary medicine
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
