An established companion animal hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join an experienced, collaborative medical team. The Urgent Care Veterinarian will evaluate and treat same-day, non-life-threatening medical concerns, helping bridge the important gap between general practice and emergency medicine. Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat same-day urgent medical conditions using evidence-based medicine.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans for urgent care patients.
• Perform medical procedures appropriate to urgent care practice.
• Stabilize patients requiring advanced care and coordinate referrals when appropriate.
• Educate clients regarding treatment recommendations, follow-up care, and preventive healthcare.
• Collaborate with general practice veterinarians, specialists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records while adhering to the highest standards of veterinary ethics.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in companion animal medicine; urgent care or emergency experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to practicing evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
