Role Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a wide variety of complex internal medicine cases in companion animals
• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound, endoscopy, and other internal medicine techniques as appropriate
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based medical practices
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, neurologists, oncologists, emergency clinicians, and critical care specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize advanced diagnostic technology to support clinical decision-making
• Provide consultation services for referred and hospitalized patients
• Mentor interns, veterinary students, technicians, and colleagues while fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records while upholding the highest standards of veterinary ethics
• Participate in continuing education, clinical research, and specialty advancement initiatives

Job Applicant Requirements:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or completion of a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine, or eligibility to become board-certified
• Eligibility for veterinary licensure in the applicable state
• Commitment to practicing evidence-based veterinary medicine
• Strong expertise in internal medicine diagnostics and case management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
